Gambling is strictly regulated for now over 200 years. The Empereur Napoleon decided to forbid gambling inside town to keep ot of sight from the poor people of Paris the rich people loosing fortunes. At the turn of the 1900’s, it’s in a perimeter of 100km around Paris that any games involving money were strictly forbidden. As a result Paris has no casinos and the Champs Elysées will never look like the strip of Las Vegas. In case you badly want to loose some fresh cash you have 2 options: driving 100km out of the city to the closest casino in Enghien or becoming a member of the very hush-hush Cercle Clichy Montmartre.
Near Place de Clichy, an old brasserie turned in 1947 in a gambling joint were you can play texas hold’em on one of the 14 tables below the beautiful  art nouveau skydome or poker 21, 3 Cards, Stud Poker or multicolor. Serious players there, one of the stops of the Winamax Poker Tour!
The Club also offers  French and American pool tables for free membership, a standard membership fee of 30€ applies for the Poker and Multicolor.
