Play it like Gatsby

Tonight will open the 66th Film Festival in Cannes with the screening of The great Gatsby by Baz Lurhmann and it seems that the Gatsby way of life is all over the place in Paris. So, if you want to be part of that Parisian Gatsby trend, here are some hush-hush tips in 5 great addresses!
First work on your looks and visit Casablanca. Najat, a former costume designer for the movie and theater industry has opened a store full of vintage period clothes and accessories wearable on a daily basis.
Then get a good grooming at Alain, the master barber of Le Marais. He trims mustaches and beards like no other, the old fashion way with soap, brushes and razors sharpened on a leather strap in his museum like salon.
Stop for a snack at The Lobster Bar; in a retro decor looking like a ship from the 40s, your lobster roll, prepared with Brittain lobster, will be served with salad and French fries.
Around the corner from Lobster Bar is the Ballroom of the Beef Club. A long hallway and some stairs plunging in a dark basement will make you feel back in the clandestine years of prohibition. A great cocktail bar is waiting for you.
End up your night dancing swing and watching Burlesque at La Machine du Moulin Rouge on May 30th and June 7th. For now 3 years, swing dancing and burlesque lovers never miss one of the best vintage music nights in Paris. Frendly mood and Gatsby looks for everybody!
