Is this a view or is this a view?

All you will see on the sidewalk will be a sign showing you the way to an elevator that will take you to heaven, perched on the roof of one of the most prestigious theater of Paris, certainely one of the most beautiful one in the world, Theater of Champs Elysées on avenue Montaigne. The building was built by pioneers of the new concrete era, the Perret brothers in the 1910s with the help of the most experimental artists of the time: Lalique, Maurice Denis and Bourdelle. As it was renovated in the late 1990s, a restaurant was added on the existing roof top terrace. A square of glass offering the most extravagant views over Paris that just got enlarged with a summer outside patio. In the kitchen operate the stared twin brothers, Jacques and Laurent Pourcel where they developpe their sophisticated and tasty mediterranean cuisine with a twist. A feast for your mouth as well as for your eyes with this expensive views over the Invalides, the river and the Eiffel tower. Moderate prices at lunch time, specially if you have the White House Club Member card -ask it on line, free this year, but hush-hush- it gets more expensive for dinner but it’s definitely a place to celebrate and it will remain memorable.
You can also privatize the entire restaurant for an event…a matter of budget… certainely a hidden gem in the Golden triangle of Paris!
